Dear friends and supporters of Cafe Berio,
you are simply amazing!
Thanks to you, we have shown what cohesion means. Your commitment, your support and your love for the Berio have touched us deeply – and together we have made a strong statement.
Thank you to all our guests: you are the heart and soul of the Berio. You have filled this place with life through your stories, memories and moments. And, of course, a huge thank you to everyone who signed, shared or loudly supported our petition. A thank you to our loyal employees over the years.
Special thanks go to the helpers and supporters of the last months in 2024 (all names without title, without office, without profession)
Sinaida Feinstein, both Michael Amerell, Johannes Kram, Friederike Römhild, Arndt Breitfeld, Matias Conrad, Rolf-Joachim Erler, Holger Schönhardt, Jörg Schönrock, Olaf Möller, Jan-Marco Luczak, Sebastian Walter, Wiebke Neumann, Klaus Hackenschmied, Klaus Lederer, Renate Künast, the Berlin Tempelhof Schöneberg district councillors, Ullrich Simontowitz, Café Gnosa, Lee Jokes, Chris Bernhardt, Claudio Maniscalco, Erich Mönius… Who have I forgotten?
You put so much heart and soul into it – respect and a thousand thanks for that!
The Berio is a way of life. And even if the old rooms are history, the Berio lives on. Who knows what the future holds?

With gratitude and anticipation,
Karsten and the whole of Café Berio
