Die Fotoserie „The Inevitable Anguish Of Desire“ ist ein fortlaufendes Projekt, das als Heilungsprozess begann, um das Gefühl des Schmerzes zu überwinden, das die psychische Gesundheit der Künstlerin beeinträchtigt hatte. Indem sie sich täglich mit diesen intensiven Gedanken auseinandersetzt, erstellt sie mit Hilfe der Kamera ein visuelles Tagebuch, in dem sie Bilder einfängt, die den momentanen Emotionen entsprechen.
„The Inevitable Anguish Of Desire“ photographic series is an ongoing project that started as a healing process to overcome the feeling of pain that had been affecting the artist’s mental health. In facing these intense thoughts daily, she creates a visual diary with the use of the camera, capturing images that correspond to the momentary emotion.
Über den Künstler
Maria Denise Dessimoz ist eine in Berlin lebende Künstlerin. Sie hat einen Master of Arts in Fotografie von der University of Europe for Applied Sciences und einen Hintergrund in Umwelttechnik. Mit Hilfe von Fotografie und Mischtechniken erforscht sie das Unterbewusstsein und innere Wahrheiten, indem sie Metaphern und Symbolismus verwendet. Ihre Arbeit ist inspiriert von alltäglichen Synchronizitäten und visuellen Eindrücken aus dem onirischen Zustand. Die immense emotionale Bandbreite der Künstlerin hat eine enorme Auswirkung auf ihre Realität und spielt daher eine wichtige Rolle für ihre Kreativität, wie Treibstoff in einem Motor.
Maria Denise Dessimoz is a Berlin-based artist. She has a Master of Arts in Photography from the University of Europe for Applied Sciences and a background in environmental engineering. Through photography and mixed media techniques, she explores the subconscious and inner truths by using metaphor and symbolism. Her work is inspired by everyday life synchronicities and visuals from the oniric state. The artist’s immense wave of emotional range has a tremendous effect on her reality, and thus plays an important role upon her creativity, like fuel in an engine.
